Job Title: Sales Representative

Job Summary: A Sales Representative is responsible for selling products or services to potential and existing customers. This role involves understanding customer needs, generating leads, closing sales, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a persuasive personality, and a goal-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation:
    • Identify potential customers through research, networking, and cold calling.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads and prospects.
    • Present, promote, and sell products/services to potential and existing customers.
  2. Customer Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
    • Understand customer needs and requirements to provide appropriate solutions.
    • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
  3. Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products/services.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
  4. Sales Process Management:
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
    • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts.
    • Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively.
  5. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing, customer service, and product development teams.
    • Provide feedback to help improve products and services.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to sales strategy development.

Requirements:

  • Education: B.Sc agriculture (1-2 years experience)
  • Experience: Proven experience as a sales representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
